Silverleaf nightshade, Solanum elaegnifolium

Silverleaf nightshade, Solanum elaegnifolium

In honor of Kevin von Finger, famous El Paso naturalist and environmentalist, walk through the alleys between Kern Place and Rim Road to discover what useful plants are growing there. This plant walk covers any plants we find, including landscaping plants and weeds growing in sidewalk cracks. Meet outside Tippi Teas at Stanton and Boston, 2501 N. Stanton, at 9am for a 1.5-miles round-trip walk.  Bring plenty of water and a hat. Contact Dr. Kappus at Southwest University for more information: There is no need to sign up. (Co-Leader, the ghost of Kevin von Finger . . . of  course.)
