Wyler Aerial Tramway State Park

The hikes are free and for the anniversary there is no charge for the event but visitors wanting to ride the Tram will have to purchase tickets at $8 adults and $4 children. 1700 McKinley Avenue, El Paso, TX.  Questions: contact Diana Moy 915-562-9899

MAY

Women Only Hike

Sun. May 6th  7AM

Our monthly women only hike up Ranger Peak (approx. 1 mile uphill).; meeting point is  at the park's parking area at 7AM ready to hike. 

The hike takes about 1.5-2.5 hours and it is rated as strenuous.

Participants must bring: water, sturdy shoes, sun protection, weather appropriate clothing, exact cash for Tramway ride down ($4adults, $2children), hiking sticks (optional), snacks (optional).

Last Sunday Hike

Sun. May 27th 7AM 

Our monthly guided hike up Ranger Peak (approx. 1 mile uphill).; meeting point is  at the park's parking area at 7AM ready to hike. 

The hike takes about 1.5-2.5 hours and it is rated as strenuous.

Participants must bring: water, sturdy shoes, sun protection, weather appropriate clothing, exact cash for Tramway ride down ($4adults, $2children), hiking sticks (optional), snacks (optional).


JUNE

National Trails Day Hike

Sat. June 2nd 6:30AM 

In celebration of National Trails Day we will hike up to Ranger Peak from the westside of the mountain through 1000 step trail, once at the top we can relax and enjoy the view, to then come down on the eastside of the mountain through Directisimo trail.

We will meet at the Tramway's parking area at 6:30AM to carpool to 1000 step trailhead to start hiking; once we are donw the mountain at the park we will carpool back to 1000 steps trail to pick up vehicles.

Participants must call the park to RSVP.

What to bring: water, sturdy shoes, sun protection, weather appropriate clothing, snacks, hiking sticks.

This hike is rated as strenuous.
