The largest, oldest and most prestigious gem and mineral show in the world, the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show® has enjoyed international stature since the 1970s. It was the first gem and mineral show to bring the hobby enthusiast, the public, and the curator/professionals together for discovery and discussion. The show is “like a time portal, a trip around the world, and a treasure hunt all rolled into one. Every winter, more than 65,000 guests from around the globe descend upon Tucson, AZ, to buy, sell, trade, and bear witness to rare and enchanting gems, minerals, and fossils at more than 40 gem show locations across the city”.
Several CoM members will be attending the show this year and invite you to join us and we can help share experiences and give guidance based on your interests. The show is so large that you will definitely want to take advantage of this guidance and also meet and socialize with local El Paso area people. The main show located in the convention center is open from 10 to 6 on Feb 8 to 11; the theme this year is “Pegmatites - Crystals Big and Beautiful!” .
