Have you ever wondered about the "What, Why, Where, and Who" of deserts? This talk by ecologist Dr. Paul Hyder will cover these questions while focusing on the biota of our local Chihuahuan desert. The topics covered are a useful introduction for anyone participating in the Celebration of Our Mountains desert hikes and local field trips.
The 2017 Celebration of Our Mountains Third Annual Talk will be held at the Memorial Park Garden Center, 3105 Grant Avenue, just past the intersection of Grant Ave. and N. Raynor Street at the southwest corner of Memorial Park. The event is FREE.
