How do desert organisms deal with a scarcity of one of the most important resources for living things? On this easy hike, we will look at how life contends with the limitations, and unpredictability, of water availability in a desert environment. We will also discuss how we might use some of these techniques in the way we use water on a daily basis. Meet at the Tom Mays Unit of the Franklin Mountains State Park.
