Take a moderate 3-miles round-trip hiking tour and discover the geology and geography of the area including geothermal aspects. Meet at Leasburg Dam State Park Visitor Center. Map www.emnrd.state.nm.us/SPD/leasburgdamstatepark.html. There is a fee of $5 fee per vehicle. Bring at least two quarts of water per person, good hiking shoes, sunscreen and insect repellant.
