Take an easy 4-mile, 3-hour hike and see some of the beautiful arroyos in the Franklin Mountains. The hike is dog friendly but be sure to bring doggie bags. Meet at the end of the Tom Mays Unit of the Franklin Mountains State Park just north of Transmountain Road. Drive to the end of the park road and park where the picnic tables are. There is a $2 fee or use your Park Pass. Bring 2 liters of water and some snacks and sturdy hiking shoes. For more information, contact Carol Brown, 915-630-1424.
