Join us on an easy hike in the Tom Mays Unit of Franklin Mountains State Park.

This easy 1.5 mile trail wanders through the foothill and arroyos adjacent to the Tom Mays road. Enjoy an abundance of desert plant life and keep an eye out for birds and other critters in the brush.

Bring: water, snacks, hiking boots/shoes, and comfortable clothes.

Optional: binoculars, hiking stick, camera, and a map.

Fee: $5.00 per adult 13 years of age and older and free for Texas State Park Pass holders, and children 12 years of age and under.

Reservation required by calling 915 444-9121; spots are limited to 15 participants.

Meeting Location: End loop/Campsite #39. We will then carpool to the visitor center and hike the trail back to tour vehicles.
