Visit the rock art and stagecoach ruins at Alamo Mountain, just east of the Hueco Mountains. Meet at 7 AM sharp at Hueco Tanks Road and Montana Avenue where the white “flying saucer” office is located. Take a one-hour drive to Alamo Mountain. You will need a reliable vehicle with a full tank of gas, good tires and a spare tire and jack. The hike is off trail and the terrain is rocky and uneven.
