Enjoy extraordinary panoramic views of the Rio Grande river valley and mountains west and north of El Paso on this nice hike for all levels of hikers. The hike is dog friendly but be sure to bring doggie bags. Meet at the end of the Tom Mays Unit of the Franklin Mountains State Park just north of Transmountain Road. Drive to the end of the park road and park where the picnic tables are. There is a $2 fee or use your Park Pass. Bring 3 liters of water and some snacks.
