Begun in 1994 by Randy Limbird, editor and publisher of El Paso Scene, Celebration of Our Mountains has grown to encompass dozens of events each fall that get people in West Texas and Southern New Mexico outdoors to enjoy the natural wonders of the Borderland.
Now a year-round endeavor, Celebration of Our Mountains gathers experts in hiking, biking, climbing, birding, history, archaeology, geology, botany and other subjects, who lead events throughout the region.
