Understand El Paso’ volcanic history and how it helped to shape today’s landscape by visiting the youngest volcano in the region

Details: Visit Kilbourne Hole and finding gem-quality Peridot and other rocks and minerals that were torn-up from the Earth’s mantle and crust. You will also visit Aden Crater, a massive lava flow where NASA astronauts trained during the 1960’s. Easy to moderate hiking. High clearance vehicle a must. No fee and pet friendly.
